Grateful for God's Grace

I'm grateful to have been given such an amazing portion of God's grace this last year. It has been a very difficult year in lots of ways.....Garry's health, death of my brother, his grandchild, my uncle, and my aunt, school has been challenging to name a few. BUT God has given grace to get through each situation in miraculous ways. He has been so good to provide the encouragement and strength for each time of trial. I look forward to 2010 with great excitement!!

Thankful for family

I'm thankful for family--
Siblings, in-laws, cousins, aunts & uncles, children, spouse, nieces & nephews and in-laws, mother-in-law

family changes--people die, people are born, people marry, and people divorce

family can be difficult to deal with at times, but they never stop being family.....you just keep loving in spite of faults. This helps us understand God's love for us.

It's been too long!

I really wanted to post a short gratitude post every day....but alas....I didn't keep it up after I completed my alphabet.

The Lord has been so very good to me and I want to keep focused on Him. It is so easy to be distracted.

Today I'm grateful for God's patience with me. His mercies are new every morning! Although I fail over and over to be all that He wants me to be, He patiently picks me up and dusts me off reminding me that I am His.

Thankful for BLACK things

I'm thankful for black ink for all the printed materials we read.

I'm thankful for black clothing and shoes and accessories. I wear lots of black, it goes with anything.

Thankful for black beans, yummo!

Need a system

I realize that a "system" of focusing my gratitude is much better than random open ended what am I thankful for today. So here are some systems I might like to try.

Plants, money, eyes, my office is decorated with green carpet & paint, salads, Broc.....

Daily Thanksgiving

I've really enjoyed focusing on being giving thanks every day this month. I think I want to continue that with my very own, perhaps private Attitude of Gratitude Blog.
